Join Wonder Teacher Shira Brenner for this epic and amplifying workshop!
It is time to channel your inner Beyonce as you learn the basics of super sassy Hip Hop, Club, and Tribal dance flow. This will be a sweaty workshop open to every level of dancer (especially those who have two left feet!) This is a no-judgement and no expectation, FUN dance experience. Leave your worries and inhibitions at the door! We will learn body rolls, body isolation (hips & torso), basic steps & more. The Dance session will be one hour, followed by a 1hr dance heavy Buti Yoga class with a KILLER, booty poppin’ playlist. Expect lots of sweat, Missy Elliot and Queen B, smiles, and body freedom. You will leave a much more embodied and confident dancer and most likely feeling like a Queen.

What is Buti Yoga?
Buti yoga is a soulful blend of power yoga, cardio-intensive tribal dance, conditioning and deep abdominal toning. This all-in-one workout tones + sculpts the entire body while facilitating complete inner transformation.
Created by celebrity trainer, Bizzie Gold, Buti Yoga helps women (and men) tap into their inner power and unleash unshakable confidence. The Buti Yoga methodology clears away stuck energy and revitalizes the body to allow each student to shift their perception of the world around them.
In Marathi, the language spoken in parts of western India, buti means “a secret remedy or cure.”

In this series we will tap into our strength, unleash our wild side, rev up our creativity, our innate wisdom, and endless freedom.
By moving our bodies, expressing our uniqueness, laughing and sweating into bliss, we will shed our external layers of ego and explore what it feels like to tap into our power. The physical component of class will be 60 minutes. This is a barefoot practice. There will a description of the Chakras, guided discussion, and possible writing. Please bring a notebook, a pen, and water to hydrate!
