Imagine it’s Friday, August 22nd and you are driving up to Bethel Farm’s Art & Yoga Sanctuary, the air is sweet, the forests are thick with evergreen trees and plants in full bloom. You are two minutes from the barn when you realize there's a wildly epic and refreshing waterfall at the foot of the hill, the air around you is buzzing with the magic of nature (and literal butterflies), and you are finally about to indulge in a weekend that is 100% for you. Your heart dances with delight!

All responsibilities are left for another day as you have chosen to give yourself the gift of 3 full days to nourish your heart and connect to your Soul so you can return home feeling refreshed, renewed, and in total bliss. 

This is what you can expect at Bethel Farm. 

On the day you arrive, the Sun (our star of vitality and personal power) will shift into Virgo, and the focus will turn towards Self-Care, the practices that fill your cup, keep your energy flowing, and revitalize your tired bones. Once you settle into your space and meet new friends, it will be time to gather, ceremoniously sip cacao and set intentions for the upcoming weekend. You will learn all about how the archetypal Virgo energy can be best harnessed for absolute mind, body, soul magic and deeply grounded alignment.

The day will conclude with a delectable farm to table organic home cooked meal, made by chef Tracy, followed by an unwinding and deeply healing crystal sound bath played by Shira. 

And that is just day 1! Saturday, the 23rd gifts us with a powerful Virgo New Moon. This gives us a clean slate, a brand new beginning, and fresh start for the next 28 day cycle (as well as 6 month cycle). Saturday will begin with a grounding meditation, followed by a Kundalini yoga practice for the new moon, and a gorgeous farm to table breakfast. You will have plenty of free time to roam around the farm, hike the trails, and swim in the pond or in the waterfalls before lunch. In the late afternoon, we will gather again for a body centered, somatic moment practice. This practice will integrate your new moon intentions and will be an amazing way to release any chronic stress hanging out in your muscles, restore your central nervous system, and tap into the power of play.

After a special new moon dinner, a pre-bedtime sound bath and mantra practice will send you off into a blissful sleep.

Btw, don’t be surprised if a tarot circle, dance party, or additional cacao ceremony gets added to the agenda, I have a thing for music, archetypes and chocolate. 

Sunday morning will seal our journey with a final closing ceremony and movement practice, so you can take all the magic that was conjured and float your way back home! Our weekend of bliss will conclude with an extra special Sunday Brunch and tons of hugs *happy tears*  before stepping into this brand new chapter and season of our lives. 

The vibes will be inclusive, the people will be inspiring, the spiritual practices will be just what you need. We will swim and dance, romp through the babbling brooks and springs, bathe in the warm sun’s rays, eat organic farm to table nourishing meals, chat fireside, and dance our heart’s out.

From the music that orchestrates the movement, to the postures that align with the moon, sun, and stars, to the season and time of day, it is all connected and intertwined to be a catalyst for body, mind, and energy healing.

Shira Brenner

500 RYT. For me, a yoga, Buti Yoga, Spiritual connection, dance, embodiement class is so much more than just a class. It is an experience. From the music that orchestrates the movement, to the postures that align with the moon, sun, and stars, to the season and time of day, it is all connected and intertwined to be a catalyst for body, mind, and energy healing.

Yoga (in its MANY hidden forms) is just another form of dance, where you move to the rhythm of your breath and tap into the medicine of your essence. I believe yoga is one of the greatest healing resources we have and a consistent practice has saved me during the darkest of days. Come in with an open mind and a willingness to meet yourself where you are at. 

Veracious Healing

Vera Ventura is a 400-RYT, Buti Yoga and Vinyasa Teacher. She is certified in Aromatouch Massage and wellness advocate for doTERRA essential oils. She currently teaches at Yoga Works, Some.Yoga.Studio, and Barre and Soul.  Vera practices meditation daily and is in recovery. She lives with her husband, 2 sparkly kids in Somerville, MA.

I am seeking the nature bound, the gypsy spirited, adventurous yogis. We begin our journey in Morelia, Mexico’s best kept secret, a UNESCO world heritage site with more than 200 historical buildings all constructed from Pink stone, and a place of open armed, warm hearted people. There is vibrancy, richness, and magic around every corner. 

Morelia will be our home for the week, as we will venture 3 hours east to the tiny village of Pacheros, where we will begin our Monarch Butterfly migration experience. We will stay overnight at a quaint bed and breakfast at the foot of the butterfly conservation forest where we will partake in a moon phase ceremony, dive deep into the forest, and connect to our true nature. In the morning, we'll prepare for a guided horseback ride up the mountains of Cerro Pelon to bare witness to one of nature’s most incredible miracles, the Monarch butterfly migration. There will millions of butterflies. It is bound to be a life changing experience.

There will be time in Morelia to explore, shop, and enjoy the sights. There is so much to see and do that you might never want to leave. 

Our final trip will be Patzcuero. An ancient highland town with both a Colonial and Indigenous character and charm. The clean and crisp mountain air, surrounded by forests and lakes, set against the backdrop of azure-blue skies will leave you breathless. Together, we’ll travel by boat to visit the tiny Island of Isla Janitzio, where we will browse local artisans and indulge in an Indigenous style lunch. 

Of course, depending on the weather, and local events, there may be some extra surprises along the way. This will be an unforgettable, bucket list kind of experience. If you are enamored with nature, culture, delicious food, and striking art, this is the journey for you.

Last November I took to my first surfboard ever having no idea what would be in store. I was totally scared and sure I wouldn't be able to ride any waves, let alone stand up. What I got out of surfing was SO much more than just catching a wave (which I can now do- sort of) What I found out is that surfing is so much like yoga.  It requires you to connect to your body, to go with the flow of the ocean, to believe in yourself, and to be fully present. It is truly amazing and I couldn't think of a better joy inducing practice to share with you than surf & yoga camp.
